We just experienced what felt like the beginnings of fall, but the truth is that we still have a few more weeks where the temperatures could get hot.  Just like you would during the hottest of days, it really is important to stay hydrated at all times.  The recommended amount of water is to take your body weight in pounds and divide it in half.  Now if you are putting in long hours taking Fitness Classes, you want to drink even more to replace what you have lost.  Drinking a little at a time is the best way to go, if you pace yourself at about 4 oz. every thirty minutes, you won’t feel as overwhelmed, as when you haven’t had any all day and resort to chugging as much as you can.

For most people drinking too much water is not an issue, most people have a hard time consuming even close to the daily recommended amount.  One of the best ways to sneak in more water, to stay hydrated for Fitness Classes is to eat food that is high in water content!
