BENEFITS OF CARDIO KICKBOXING

Working out should be something you look forward to, not something you dread. It is way more likely that you stick to workout if you enjoy it. So if you’re growing bored of using traditional cardio equipment at the gym, try taking one of our fitness classes.

One of the fitness classes offered at Gentry’s is the Cardio Kickboxing class. In this class, you will learn real kickboxing techniques and then use them in a fun, fast paced workout. Here are some of the benefits of Cardio Kickboxing.

>>Weight Loss- Cardio Kickboxing is a great way shed off some of that unwanted fat. The amount of calories burned differs from person to person due to body composition, but generally, an average woman burns 350-450 calories in an hour long Kickboxing class.

>>Cardio- The kickboxing classes are 40 minutes long and they are fast-paced. Over time, you will see drastic improvements in your cardio. In the long run, you will have healthier lungs and a healthier heart.

>>Muscular Endurance- Cardio Kickboxing gives you a full-body workout. It is a great way to develop lean muscle and build muscular endurance. Those pesky grocery bags will no longer be a problem!

>>Self Defense- In this class, you will learn actual kickboxing techniques (kicks, punches, knees, elbows, etc.) that you can use should a situation ever arise. The instructors are all certified personal trainers and are knowledgeable in the art of kickboxing.

>>High-Energy Class- Most people join cardio classes because they seek an exciting way to exercise. At Gentry’s, the Cardio Kickboxing classes are full of energy and very fun. (who doesn’t like hitting things that don’t hit back?) And it is also a great way to meet new people. Whether it be workout partners or friends, there will always be someone there to motivate you in class.
